The Ambassadors Corner!!!

Having had the pleasure of meeting so many of you  - as your President in 1991/2 and at the 30 Skål Congress’s I have attended over the years,  I am naturally very excited at the opportunity of welcoming you to the 71st Skål Congress here in Sydney.

Whilst we have just experienced our coldest night in 61 years (5 deg. C) the warmth of Sydney in October - 25 deg. C will only be surpassed by the warmth of our welcome to you in our Great City Sydney.

The Programme is centred around “the Greatest Harbour in the World” of which, I personally never tire. Only last Saturday I spent the afternoon cruising the harbour on a perfect sunny winter’s day - a highlight you will experience as guests of Capt Cook Cruises following the Opening Ceremony on Friday the 8th October.

Quite apart from the organized programme, the close proximity and easy access between all Congress venues will allow opportunity to absorb the many and varied highlights of the city and environs. Then of course there are the numerous attractions of our vast country to pursue in your Pre and Post touring from the unique Blue Mountains Resort - only 70 km out of Sydney , to the Great Barrier Reef in the North and to the Hub of our renowned Mineral Centres in the West.

Max Kingston.

A PERSONAL WARM WELCOME AWAITS YOU. SEE YOU IN OCTOBER,

at the 71st Skål World Congress when we will be....

Linking the World down under.
